Leadership Classes start October 7 & 8, 2023
Men’s Leadership Class I – October thru May
Men’s Leadership Class I will meet in DC202 on Saturday evenings at 5:30-6:45pm; the same class is also offered Sundays at 1-2pm
After the class is over most of the men who finish are reading their Bibles, and spending time with God in private prayer almost every day. Most are also praying with their wife, taking their wife on a date at least monthly, and being the spiritual leader of their home. Every man in the class learns the power of goal setting to change and control their life, and most remain lifelong goal setters. A major goal of Leadership Class is that each man comes out of the class as a lifelong learner, and a seeker of wisdom who never gets lukewarm again.
Leadership Class 2 – October thru May
Leadership Class II is open to either men or women who have finished Leadership I. Leadership II will meet in DC202 on Sundays at 3-4pm.
The goals of this class is that each individual will learn more about the power of goal setting to change their life, and as a tool to help others gain control of their lives. The skill and knowledge of how to set goals and use them as a strong motivator in their life will be worked on throughout the class. An extension of the skill of goal setting will be an ability to manage time, to establish priorities, and to escape bad habits and addictions. We will talk a lot about how to influence people, how to get along with even the crankiest person, and be a leader in every setting and situation in our life.
We will talk about what each of us can do as a ministry and how to make it happen in our life. A major goal is thinking about how we can be used by God to make our church grow as a result of reaching people and training them as disciples of Jesus.
Ladies’ Discipleship Class – October thru May
The Ladies’ Discipleship Class will be taught on Sunday mornings from 8-9am in DC202. The purpose of the class is that each woman would become faithful to the basic disciplines of the Christian life, reading their Bibles, and spending time with God in private prayer, and a good manager of time to manage the various responsibilities in life without becoming overwhelmed. The result is that they will become people of influence who change the lives of others around them by the power of that influence that God gives to them. They influence their husband, their children, neighbors, work associates, and perfect strangers as a disciple of Jesus who is being used by Him.
